March is my birthday month and the beginning of my 75th trip around the sun.
A good time to reflect on what has transpired in my life and all around me in that time.
Born in 1951 and raised in the Midwest in a wonderful family with a stay-at-home mother and a stern business building father who was already worn out by 6 previous children.
In the fifth grade we moved to the country along the Mississippi river and I spent many of my days playing in the woods and exploring the river. Life was good and I was protected from much of what the world was going through in those days.
In a seventh grade class in November of 1963 we were told that President Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas. I was not political, but my family was conservative, so I did not know if this was a good thing or not. It is amazing to me that in 2025 we may yet find out who was responsible for this act as well as the killing of his brother, Robert Kennedy as well as Martin Luther King.
It has taken me too many years to wake up to the truth that so much of our history, as well as our present, is just so much theater and gas lighting.
I was a freshman in college at the height of the Vietnam War and even then I was too naive to fully grasp what I was protesting on the streets in Madison, Wisconsin. My only concern was closing the campus down so I would not fail the classes I had missed so much classroom time in. All I knew was that I needed to stay in School to avoid the draft, that surely would have taken me with my pitifully low draft number.
This war, like every war before and after, was just another way so steer the minds of the public and control the political and monetary direction to where the “controllers” want it to go.
Of course, it has taken me almost 3 quarters of a century to wake up to the control we are all under. Unfortunately, there are still too many people in this world who are unaware of the dangers that lie in wait for us all.
Like the majority of Americans, I spent my middle years working and raising a family. there was little time to contemplate the larger questions of life.
During the rise of the Christian coalition in the Republican party I became active in that movement while living in Minnesota. I attended the local convention, supporting the new conservative movement but we were no match to the entrenched politicians who ran the party. We were able to put Ronald Reagan in office and enjoy eight years of relative peace, but the forces of covert change were always moving through all areas of life with their epistemological warfare.
Epistemological warfare refers to a form of conflict that targets the very foundations of knowledge, belief systems, and how people determine what is true or real. It’s about manipulating, undermining, or weaponizing the processes by which individuals or societies come to understand reality—essentially attacking epistemology, the branch of philosophy concerned with knowledge and justified belief.
In practice, this kind of warfare doesn’t involve physical weapons but rather information, narratives, and perception. The goal is to sow doubt, confusion, or distrust in institutions, facts, or shared truths, making it hard for people to distinguish between what’s real and what’s fabricated.
When I was in High School, education was still teaching us to read, write and understand the world in the traditional sense, but as my peers began to move into the educational field the warriors of epistemological war were already undermining the standards, challenging critical thinking, and polarizing the learning environment.
By controlling finance, health, religion, education, media, and science, those who control the levers of power create a closed system of belief and perception that keeps populations compliant without them realizing it.
By hiding in the shadows and controlling those in visible positions of power they have been very successful at moving us into their one world government. Unfortunately, they began to move too fast when they sprung the covid scam on the world. It was at that moment that I and millions around the world woke up to the game they were running.
I feel like we now have a chance to take control back and begin to live our lives as independent free-willed humans, having the capacity to reason, choose, and act based on your own judgment, grounded in reality as we see it.
With my eyes wide open I look forward to what lies ahead in my next quarter century.

Agree that COVID woke a lot of people up, but still many more to wake up who have been deeply indoctrinated! https://larryburk.substack.com/p/wake-up-from-the-trance-of-fear
Marc, it was a good way to pull it all together. Happy Birthday!
